💰 How to Transfer Earned Funds to Your Bank Account
If you've earned funds on the Gloo Impact platform, you can transfer them directly to your connected bank account. This article walks you through the steps, including permission requirements and verification.
🔐 Important: Only the person with the organization owner role on the platform can initiate a fund transfer. If you don’t see the Banking option in your menu, you may not have the right permissions. (More on that below.)
✅ Step 1: Make sure you're logged in as the organization owner
Log in to your Gloo Impact account.
In the top right corner, confirm your organization name is showing correctly.
Click on your initials icon in the top right corner.
If you are the organization owner, you will see the Banking option in the dropdown menu.
🧠 Don’t see “Banking”?
Click on Settings > Teams to check who the owner is. Only the listed owner can make transfers. You can also transfer ownership if needed by clicking the three dots (⋯) next to a team member’s name.
🏦 Step 2: Go to the Banking section
Click your initials in the top right.
Select Banking from the dropdown.
If a bank account has already been connected and you have a positive balance, you’ll see a Transfer Money button.
🔄 Step 3: Initiate the transfer
Click Transfer Money.
On the next screen, click Continue.
A verification code will be sent to the cell phone number associated with your account (check the last four digits of the phone number).
Enter the verification code when prompted.
Confirm the transfer.
📱 Note: Make sure the phone number linked to the owner’s account is accurate. If the owner doesn’t have access to that number, the transfer cannot be completed until it's updated.
🔄 Optional: Transferring ownership
If the wrong person is listed as the organization owner:
Go to Settings > Teams.
Click the three dots (⋯) next to the correct person.
Choose Transfer Ownership.
