If your champion organization has an existing program on Gloo Impact, there are three types of edits that you can make to that program: trivial, structural, or disruptive. We'll cover each of these types in the article below:

Trivial

Trivial edits to a program don't affect the payouts or the structure of milestones that the applicants go through. An example of a trivial change is going to the Settings tab and changing the program name, description or photo. Even if the program is in a Fund and has a scholarship attached to it, sponsors will not need to be notified of these changes nor will they affect applicants.

Structural

Structural edits involve changing the underlying structure of the milestones like changing a milestone type or verification. Without an active scholarship attached to the program, there are no applicants going through the program and thus no one will need to be notified of the changes. However, if the program has been brought into a Fund and now has a scholarship attached, a message box to sponsors will pop up to notify them of the structural changes being made to the program.

Disruptive

Disruptive edits involve changing the payment amount of a milestone within an program. After a change is made to the payment amount of a milestone, the program will be paused which will prevent new applications until the sponsor organization approves the change and unpauses the scholarship attached to the program. A message box to sponsors will pop up to notify them of the disruptive changes being made to the program. Once the message box is filled out and the edits are published, the program will be in a "Pending Review" state and further edits to milestones cannot be made until the review process is completed. The Fund will be notified that one of their scholarships has been paused due to changes to a program configuration and they will be prompted to review these changes.
